Cocktails straight from the tap and some of the city’s best shisha, hidden in old cellar spaces filled with neon and contemporary art. A great place for conversations that stretch until morning.
Music Lab
A club tucked beneath the Janáček Academy, so musicians and music students naturally gather here. Expect live jam sessions, jazz evenings and good DJ sets, all with well-priced drinks and a mood you will not find in a standard club.

For a real Brno summer evening, take a beer from the window on Jakubské náměstí and stand outside among hundreds of people. Loud, cheerful and very easy to meet someone new.
ArtBar Druhý Pád
A hidden cellar venue near Lužánky for stand-up, theatre, quizzes and wild parties. It is a cultural mix-and-match beloved by locals who want something more than an ordinary evening at a table.

Forget classic cocktails for a while and try proper absinthe. This little bar is a world of its own: absinthe prepared the old-fashioned way, water dripping over sugar and a soundtrack that fits the mood. Darker, calmer and genuinely charming.
