Also called the government villa, Stiassni contrasts Tugendhat's glazed minimalism with the grand, classicising luxury of the interwar textile bourgeoisie. Its L-shaped complex sits in a vast, beautiful garden. After the war, guests included Fidel Castro and Edvard Beneš.
